TRAINING & BARREL RACING

We train horses for ranching, roping, pole bending and most of all barrel racing.

Troy and Branda have worked with horses on their family Sandhill ranches their entire lives. They spend many hours and miles on all of their horses. They rope cattle in the pasture and in the arena on their horses.

Branda has been training and running barrel and pole horses for over 25 years. She is a participant and a member of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association, Nebraska and Mid-States Rodeo Associations, Better Barrel Races Association, and is also a director/member of the National Barrel Horse Association, and the Nebraska 4D Barrel Racing Association.

In 2006, she was 5th in the MSRA and 14th in the NSRA at year's end. She won the Cornhusker and the SD Heartland Futurity on JKR Assured Win. In 2007, she placed 2nd at Council Bluff, Iowa, 5th at Grand Island, Nebraska, 10th at Hastings, Nebraska Pro Rodeos, and was the Derby Champion at the Cornhusker Futurity. Branda gives riding and training lessons to help you develop confidence, leadership, and communication with your horse. She will give your horse a 30-day tune-up or train your barrel horse for you.
